BOREHAM Wood came back from a goal down to frustrate promotion chasing AFC Fylde and earn a deserved point at Meadow Park.
Neill Byrne put the Coasters ahead on 17 minutes, but his effort was cancelled out by a Jamal Fyfield leveller for Wood from the follow-up after Jay Lynch had saved Bradley Ash’s penalty.
Dave Challinor’s in-form Fylde side had lost just twice in their previous ten matches and started the game on the front foot.
Nick Haughton broke through the Wood midfield all too easily, but saw his stinging effort well saved by Ryan Huddart.
