BRADLEY GOLDBERG’S late penalty settled this clash in Welling United’s favour against a dominant Seagulls side.
George Nurse dragged an early shot wide from 25 yards for the hosts, before Goldberg and David Ijaha both had efforts for the Wings, the latter seeing his shot sting the palms of Weston keeper Luke Purnell.
Gavin McCallum and Brendan Kiernan were next to test the Seagulls stopper, but both attempts were bread and butter for the experienced goalkeeper.
