LEISTON held on for a stalemate as goal-shy Halesowen remain deep in relegation trouble.
There were few chances in an even first half, although home goalkeeper Dan Platt held onto Joshua Cheetham’s 19th minute long range shot.
Leiston went closer still after 35 minutes when Joe Jefford found space, allowing Noel Aitkens to flick towards goal, but Platt made a fine reaction save with his feet.
