PLAYERS’ PROTEST LEADS TO PAY DAY

EBBSFLEET UNITED players received their outstanding wages on Wednesday despite having to release a second statement about the on-going issue.
Fleet didn’t warm-up before last Saturday’s game against Wrexham with a note passed around the ground explaining they’d been informed owner Dr Abdulla Al- Humaidi wouldn’t be paying their wages for April and through the summer as punishment for releasing a statement in February to local media.
