A FIRST half spectacle at Farnborough was so low in both quality and drama, the only high was both team’s shooting that troubled the landing pattern at the airfield rather than the keepers.
Likened to culture seen in a carton of yoghurt, on the stroke of half time with the spectators begging for mercy, a cup of bovril would bring, Farnborough strung a dozen passes together, culminating in a diving far post header from the diminutive Connor Cullen and a surprising break to the deadlock.
