WHITEHAWK took advantage of a Hornchurch side seemingly off the pace to move out to the relegation places.
Lucas Rodrigues’ early efforts for the visitors was cleared by Alex Bentley in a game without much flow.
Hornchurch came close after centre-back Kenzer Lee found himself out on the wing after exchanging passes with George Purcell.
But his shot was unable to find Sean Marks in the box.
