Tigers are looking ahead to a new era

GLOUCESTER CITY have unveiled a new badge and are set to change their colours from next season.
The Tigers are reverting back to a red kit, the colour they wore in the 1980s before a tie-in with Westbury Homes saw them change to yellow and black. The updated crest highlights the history of the city by incorporating the skyline, cathedral and Gloucester Docks. There is no tiger on the badge as it had no link to the city.
“The club see this as a true acknowledgement to the history of our city and our place within it,” a statement read.
