5G TALK NOT SCILLY

BRITAIN’S smallest football league has achieved a world first – by embracing 5G mobile telephone technology for their games.
For the next two years, Vodafone UK will be the official sponsor of the Isles of Scilly League, which boasts just two teams, Garrison Gunners and Woolpack Wanderers, who play each other 20 times a season to complete the competition’s programme.
When the firm’s 5G service goes live across the UK from Wednesday, it will also be extended to the five inhabited islands 28 miles off Land’s End in Cornwall.
