FA MAKE DECISION ON NEW DIVISIONS

THE United Counties and Combined Counties Leagues have been awarded an additional Step 5 division each as part of The FA’s National League System restructuring.
From 2020-21, Step 5 will increase from 14 divisions to 16 and Step 6 will reduce from 20 to 17.
Existing Step 1 to 6 Leagues were asked by The FA if they wished to express an interest in operating one or more of the new divisions at Step 5 and/or 15 of the 17 at Step 6 – two leagues had already been allocated to the South West Peninsula League.
