REDDITCH’S unbeaten pre-season campaign came to an end as a young Aston Villa side ran out winners at the Trico Stadium.
The opening goal came after just nine minutes when the Premier side were awarded a free-kick on the edge of the area and USA youth international Indiana Vassilev drilled the ball through the Redditch wall and beyond the reach of keeper Keiran Boucher.
