UNITED WE STAND: The squad are finally ready for our first match – albeit a month later than originally scheduled

After weeks of uncertainty, we finally have our fixture schedule for the North East Premier League. Okay, the first game is now three days before my flight home and I’ll have to stay at least a month longer than planned in Sri Lanka, but at least we finally know what’s going on.
