FIGHTBACK SEES PURPS PROGRESS

CAMPION 1
CITY OF LIVERPOOL progress in the FA Cup preliminary round after a second-half fightback at home against Campion AFC.
The Purps had trailed to Andy McCreadie’s first-half effort but responded with three second- half goals to ease into the next round.
The home side went behind in the 24th minute after Matty Johnson’s fine save was followed up by Campion’s McCreadie from close range.
