A DRAW was a fair result in this season opener which was spoiled as a spectacle by the strong wind.
The Row’s Tyron Smith tested Wimborne’s young keeper Cameron Plain with a curling free-kick at the mid-point of the first half but Plain, one of seven new signings in the home team’s starting XI, made a comfortable save.
On 35 minutes Kieran Roberts forced visiting keeper Thomas Williams to make a flying save with a free-kick of his own.
