NORTHERN PREMIER
THEY were tipped last season, finished runners-up but lost out in the play-offs – surely a newly fulltime South Shields will be expected to go very close again.
Whether it puts any more pressure on the ambitious club is up for debate but the fact they are moving towards a new structure at the club in a part-time division, brings with it obvious advantages.
