Elliot Osborne’s goal-ofthe- season contender was the icing on the cake of a perfect week for Stockport County as they ground out a second successive win.
Osborne rifled home an unstoppable 25-yard effort seven minutes from time after Adam Thomas had earlier fired the Hatters in front.
It proved the perfect tonic for home boss Jim Gannon after Tuesday night’s victory over Barrow but the boss admits his men are already feeling the heat of the top-flight.
