POOLE bounced back from their midweek setback against Tiverton to comfortably take the three points against a lack-lustre Yate side. There were chances for both sides early on before the home side took a 16th minute lead when Josh Leslie-Smith caught Yate’s Adam Forster napping with a drive from thirty yards out.
Poole went close again ten minutes later when Ollie Dennett clipped the top of the crossbar but they were not to be denied soon afterwards, Dennett picking out Harry Baker who finished with a good strike from just inside the box.
