HAVING been denied a victory on Tuesday by a 96th minute penalty, happy Merthyr had a spot-kick to thank for all three points this time around. Ian Traylor stroked home the winner in the 70th minute from 12 yards to bag mazximum points after being bundled over in the box by a clumsy Michael Carter.
In truth, this game still could have gone either way as both sides missed any chances they created and there were a few for both clubs desperate for a win.
