LEAGUE LEADERS Royston were given a shock as Banbury produced a sterling display to take their first win of the season. Banbury got off to a great start when, in the first minute, captain Ricky Johnson’s through-ball put in John Mills who drew out Joe Welch in the Royston goal and side footed the ball home.
Then Amar Awadah was played in but his shot was saved by Welch. Banbury continued to dictate with a free-kick from Giorgio Rasulo but Johnson headed over.
