WALTHAM BATTLE ON TO FIRST BIG POINT

SOUTH PARK and Waltham Abbey had to settle for a point each in an entertaining 2-2 draw as Park let a two-goal lead slip on the opening day.
The hosts took the lead from the penalty spot in the fifth minute when Reece Williams-Bowers scored having won the penalty himself.
Shortly after, Park doubled the lead when Charlie Pitcher latched on to Harry Docherty’s through ball to score with ease.
