Does victory really come at any cost?

LAST Saturday at Yeovil, we witnessed the latest show of poor sportsmanship by a team who openly claimed it was fair to use ‘every trick in the book’ to gain an advantage over an opponent.
When a Stockport County player – under no pressure – played the ball out of play to allow an injured player to receive attention, it was not unreasonable for the County players to expect the home team to return the ball and allow the game to continue.
Unfortunately, the home players decided to take advantage and try to score a late winning goal.
