A SOMEWHAT rejuvenated Hitchin Town came close to snatching a point after losing the lead from the two inspirational moments from the visitors.
Both sides had chances in the first half but Hitchin were more eager after the restart and Jonathan Flatt managed a pivotal save from Max Ryan’ fierce shot.
In a frantic period there was a Hitchin penalty appeal dismissed and seconds later they had their wishes granted when Harry Draper converted well from the spot.
