A DANIEL Wilkins strike on 18 minutes won this game for the Mancunians after Town failed to clear their line.
Droylsden had the better of the first half although Town did have excellent chances to score through Carl Stewart and Eddie Church.
The visitors found Town’s stand-in goalkeeper Matt Smith in great form in the first half as he saved from Domaine Rouse and George West.
