GUERNSEY picked up their first win of the season, while ensuring Phoenix dropped to a fourth straight defeat after a 2-1 victory.
Guernsey first took the lead after ten minutes when Ross Allen fired home after beating the offside trap. The home side had the chance to equalise when Danny Young was pulled back in the box just after half time, but Jeff Duah-Kessie’s penalty was well saved by Callum Stanton.
Phoenix drew level on 61 minutes when Duah-Kessie headed in from an Ashley Probets corner but the visitors deservedly retook the lead after 72 minut...
