A VERY welcome second win of the season for Barnstaple who edged this evenly contested game. The first chance of the game fell to the visitors when David Allan headed over from the centre of the goal following a corner.
The pace of Brian Levien caused the visitors concern and he had an effort well saved by visiting keeper Alex Cull. Barnstaple took the lead on 26 minutes when Jack Langford headed home from the edge of the box getting on the end of a Jed Harper Penman corner.
