Hendon relieved as Romario scores

HENDON made rather hard work of beating Little Common. They were on top against a team two levels lower than them but struggled.
An early scramble was well blocked by Little Common defender Jordan Harley and then Hendon had three chances.
Connor Calcutt screwed wide from an acute angle and Dan Williams then shot wide.
The pair then combined and Calcutt’s deflection missed.
At the other end Hendon had a bit of an escape when Lewis Hole failed to control the ball with only Chris Grace to beat.
