KENDAL Town picked up their first win of the season with an important result against Pickering Town.
Emile Jaaskelainen, the son of former Bolton goalkeeper Jussi, opened the scoring for Kendal after 11 minutes when he fired the ball into the net from just outside the penalty area.
Pickering nearly equalised after Matty Turnbull fired over while Danny Earl’s effort hit the crossbar.
The visitors were also denied by Morgan Bacon who forced a good save from Will McNaughton.
Nathan Cloudsdale made it 2 0 for Kendal after 47 minutes, and...
