FIRST half strikes from Scott Laird and Sam Hendy sent the Seagulls through to the FA Cup’s Third Qualfying Round.
Weston broke the deadlock when George Dowling’s low free-kick was tipped just wide of the post by Matthew Harris. From the corner, Joel Randall played short to George Dowling and he curled a cross into the box, leaving Laird to attack the ball and flick it over the advancing Harris to break the deadlock.
