TOM MILTON’s solitary goal was enough to send Hadley through and heap more misery on visiting Ramsgate.
Stalwart Milton’s firsthalf effort settled a tense affair in favour of the Essex Senior League side as the Isthmian League South East’s basement boys went out.
It capped an awful week for Ramsgate, who sacked Nick Davis on Wednesday after taking just a point from their first five league games and his was certainly not the start caretaker boss Ian Docker would have wanted, going out to a team a step below them in the pyramid.
