BUXTON’S clinical finishing produced a convincing victory over their central division opponents, who had several chances to score but frittered them.
Buxton’s potent forwards profited from regular good service and after an even start to the tie Liam Hardy twice found the net inside four minutes midway through the first half.
A penetrating diagonal ball and a defensive error set him up for the first, with the second a tap-in after good work by a trio of home players.
