A VIRTUOSO performance from goalkeeper Mark Smith ensured Dartford avoided a cup shock away to Horsham.
Goals from Darren Mc-Queen and Luke Allen sealed a 2-0 win for the Darts, but it was former Brentford youngster Smith’s ‘You shall not pass’ mentality which meant the National League South outfit negotiated this tricky obstacle against their Isthmian Premier League hosts.
Smith denied namesake Chris before his best save of the day saw him somehow repel Lee Dawson’s header from point-blank range.
