POOLE edged this close encounter against old rivals Hungerford to reach the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.
Poole dominated the first half but went in only one goal ahead. Luke Cairney’s long kick found Brooks who headed to Harry Baker who slotted passed Adam Siviter.
Hungerford only came into the game in the last ten minutes of the half with Cairney making a couple of comfortable saves.
