SPENNYMOOR secured a comfortable passage to the Third Qualifying Round with a convincing win over Lancaster at Giant Axe.
Despite the final scoreline, it was the home side that looked the better in the opening 15 minutes with Charlie Bailey forcing a save from Matt Gould after just two minutes.
But Spennymoor took the lead after 16 minutes when a long ball played into the area caused a mixup between goalkeeper and defender and Andrew Johnson nipped in between to fire into the net.
