GUTTED Jim Cooper says the decision to kick Grays Athletic out of the FA Cup due to fielding an ineligible player is unfair.
Midfielder Frankie Hession-Harris, who played in America, was found not to hold the appropriate international clearance despite appearing for East Thurrock United and Witham Town last season. Hession-Harris appeared as a second-half substitute in Grays’ 5-2 preliminary round win against Heybridge Swifts on August 24.
