PRIDE OF PLACE: 1874 Northwich’s colourful shirts will be shared in the National Football Museum

WHEN 1874 Northwich fans insisted they choose a colour for their favourites to play in, it felt far-fetched theirs would become an example to follow.
They simply wanted a say.
However a striking design for the North West Counties League club’s new away shirt, unveiled in July, and the attention it attracted online did not go unnoticed.
The story will be shared in an upcoming exhibition at the National Football Museum.
