SHIELDS LATE SHOW DOES THE TRICK ON BUCKS

GOALS very late in each half secured South Shields full points at lowly Buxton, who had shocked the League leaders with a 38th-minute goal much against the run of play.
With the strong wind at their backs, the Mariners dominated possession in the first half, but Buxton’s five-man defence coped very well, though the Bucks added to the pressure on them by too often giving the ball away.
The visitors passed the ball about impressively, and Jordan Annear missed an open goal from 30 yards while Grant Shenton made a good low save from a Josh Gillie...
