GAINSBOROUGH came from a goal behind twice to equalise late on through Simon Russell’s 25-yard strike to halt a disappointing run of defeats.
Mickleover took the lead against the run of play, when veteran frontman Lee Hughes punished some slack Trinity defending.
The visitors had turned defence into attack from a Trinity corner kick, and experienced forward Stewart Beavon ran half the length of the field, cutting the ball to strike partner Hughes, who finished at the second attempt.
