Return to the Old Dog is for the fans

I JUST wanted to formally put to bed some confusion which may have stemmed from the article ‘Spot on for Tons’ (NLP September 22) about the club’s hopes of returning home to the Old Spotted Dog ground in the future.
The first words talk of Clapton FC but the article is all about Clapton Community FC.
The confusion is understandable. We, members of Clapton Community FC, claim the history of Clapton FC since the founding in 1877 by dint of ours (CCFC) continuing to be the members club that it is constitutionally bound it to be.
