CHARNOCK SOARS TO EARN POINT FOR BRIDGE

KIERAN Charnock’s last-minute header earned Bamber Bridge a point against Witton Albion at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.
An Adam Sumner own goal had earlier given Witton the lead on 27 minutes as they went into half time with a 1-0 advantage.
Brig started the game the better of the two sides with Witton goalkeeper Chris Renshaw called into action multiple times in the early stages.
But despite seeing less of the ball, it was the visitors who opened the scoring when Sumner got the final touch on a James Short cross.
