■ NORTHWOOD’S recent improvement was brought to an abrupt end as they crashed at home to Waltham Abbey.
Woods were deservedly in the game at the halfway mark as Harry Lodovica’s goal cancelled out Aron Gordon’s early strike.
But the second half was a totally –different story as Northwood were undone by poor defending at the set piece as Darrelle Russell took advantage at a free-kick before Gordon completed his brace.
