Herts-felt language

A COUPLE of weeks ago a reader wrote in to complain about the arrogant behaviour of Welwyn Garden City players at Halesowen Town and one player in particular who was using foul and abusive language to a female supporter in the crowd.
Then this week another reader tells us of two Royston players who exchanged expletives within earshot of the watching crowd, including children, in their game at Balham. I was wondering if it was something in the county air or water that seems to bring out the bad language in Hertfordshire clubs!
