BEN Ward-Cochrane was Potters Bar’s hattrick hero as the Scholars took full advantage of Bognor’s defensive woes.
All the goals came in the second half after a relatively even first 45 minutes.
Ward-Cochrane had a 13th-minute header nodded off the line by Joe Hancott.
But the Rocks kept Bar keeper Ravan Constable busy, Keaton Wood and James Crane both calling him into action before the break, while Doug Tuck, Jimmy Muitt and Bradley Lethbridge had efforts off-target.
