BARNSTAPLE’S wait for a win under new manager Dean Edwards continues after suffering a defeat at home to Winchester City.
Simba Mlambo scored after 19 minutes when Barnstaple keeper Steven Oliver spilled an effort from Liam Gilbert and it only took 12 minutes for the striker to find his second.
After a dominant first-half, the visitors found themselves 3-0 up at the break thanks to Ik Hill.
Things went from bad to worse for Barnstaple when Mlambo got his hat-trick on 56 minutes, Jamie Barron adding a fifth straight after.
