I’VE done a lot of travelling in the last fortnight – over 500 miles in fact.The first half of that was to see Farnborough away at Taunton Town.
Taunton’s ground is a pleasant, old school, Non-League ground, where I was joined by 603 other fans. The three cheerful women in the burger van sorted me out with a roast pork bap and chips with curry sauce.
The good food and their jolly disposition, helped me to forget all about the 7-0 drubbing we’d taken at home, from Tiverton, the Saturday before. We even scored first, with Chris Flood playing a one-two off...
