CONNAH’S Quay Nomads went top of the JD Cymru Premier table last night after a dramatic late 1-0 win at Cardiff Met – while Barry Town United were held 1-1 at Bala Town.
The Nomads had to wait until the 93rd minute to secure the points at Cyncoed, which were handed to them when Met’s Bradley Woolridge put through his own net. It consigned the students to their first league defeat of the campaign while for the Nomads, it made it 11 unbeaten from the start of the season.
