Waders saved by Bush

THE Waders made hard work of the first half of this FA Trophy clash. Bedworth came here to defend and found themselves in a surprise lead as Blaize Punter had time to spare as a corner bypassed all to find him unmarked.
The home side tried far too hard to score and although Joe White and Tommy Smith had headers wide, the score was unchanged at half time.
Out for the second half and with the weather deteriorating and getting colder, Bedworth ‘parked the bus’ with the Waders sending five attackers forward to breach the wall.
