A LATE comeback by Taunton denied Wimborne a cup upset after the Dorset side took a two-goal lead.
Playing with the strong wind behind them, Taunton’s Matthew Wright’s scuffed shot hit a post on 16 minutes, and keeper Cameron Plain showed strong hands to turn Dan Sullivan’s 25-yard pile-driver over the bar.
After soaking up pressure, Wimborne stole the lead after 45 minutes.
