ROSS Ibbertsen pulled the strings for Hythe who huffed and puffed but couldn’t edge past their rivals on a damp and windy afternoon at Reachfields.
These were hardly conditions for freeflowing football and both struggled to show any creativity.
The kick-off was delayed due to conditions but 160 hardy souls stayed with it as both teams struggled to test the respective goalkeepers, with Chichester’s Steven Mowthorpe enjoying a very quiet afternoon.
