BURY Town took another three points to remain top of the league, despite a mixed performance.
Bury were rampant in the first half, attacking at will, and their persistence paid off on 18 minutes as Joe White found a gap between keeper and post to sneak the ball home.
Five minutes later Jake Chambers Shaw found some space in the box to fire Bury two goals up.
Romford came out fighting after the break and on 57 minutes grabbed a goal back through Inesh Sumithran.
