CRAY Valley made the most of FA Trophy involvement for teams around them by going top of the league with victory at Burgess Hill.
The hosts had led through Scott Kirkwood but it was 1-1 just a minute later, Denzel Gayle the man to strike for Cray.
That was thanks to a clinical through ball and from there Cray kept motoring, Matthew Attenborough-Warren putting them ahead after the break.
Burgess Hill deservedly got back on terms through Erivaldo Felix in the 72nd minute.
