NON-LEAGUE football has given Giancarlo Gallifuoco genuine hope of making his international debut for Australia in World Cup qualification.
The 25-year-old is determined to catch the eye of head coach Graham Arnold and earn his first senior call-up for the Socceroos.
Sydney-born Gallifuoco was close to breaking through at Tottenham under Andre Villas-Boas but the appointment of Tim Sherwood scuppered his chances at White Hart Lane.
